California

If you live in California, you may be able to reduce what you owe to the California Franchise Tax Board (FTB), which is a part of the California Government Operations Agency. The FTB is responsible for administering the Homeowner and Renter Assistance program and collecting personal and business income taxes in California. They also collect child support liability, tax penalties and vehicle registration delinquencies.

Florida

Like all states, Florida requires residents to pay certain taxes. While these individuals don’t owe personal income tax, the State of Florida does collect sales, use, intangible and corporate income taxes. Also, individual counties in this state receive much of their funding through property taxes, which vary by county and the property’s value. In some cases, however, you may be able to benefit from tax exemptions that reduce how much you owe.

New York

There are ways you can reduce your tax liability or receive a refund in New York — one way is through the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). This New York tax relief program can make paying for your taxes easier if you earn a low- to moderate-income and meet other eligibility requirements.

Texas

While there is no individual income tax in Texas, there are other types of taxes, like property tax, that can quickly start to add up.

Luckily, there are ways for residents and business owners to reduce their tax liabilities. Here at BC Tax, we have a team of professionals ready to work with you and help you determine which relief programs you qualify for. When you choose us, we’ll make sure you have access to the information you need to minimize how much you’re taxed.

Pennsylvania

We understand what you’re going through and offer a variety of solutions for tax debt and similar issues, whether you’re filing for yourself or your business. Our services cover both state and federal taxes, and as we work together, we’ll help you discover the secrets to filing your Pennsylvania taxes correctly every time.

Illinois

Residing in Illinois brings the privilege of a rich history and diverse culture. It also comes with responsibilities, one of which is tax compliance. The State of Illinois is mindful of local taxpayers’ challenges — hence, it proudly offered one-time individual income and property tax rebates under the Illinois Family Relief Plan in 2022.

Ohio

Paying federal and state taxes is an annual obligation for most Ohio residents. Fortunately, the state offers several programs that can alleviate the tax burden. Even so, situations like job losses, underestimating amounts owed, divorce and other unexpected life circumstances can cause taxpayers to fall behind.

North Carolina

Situated in the southeastern portion of the United States, North Carolina offers everything from stunning mountain peaks to serene beaches, making it the perfect place to call home. Living and working in North Carolina, just like any other state, comes with some tax-paying responsibilities.  At BC Tax, our team of professionals is here to help you navigate North Carolina’s tax relief programs and determine which ones you may qualify for.

Georgia

Residents of the Peach State are required to pay state taxes for individual and corporate income. However, there are some laws that assist taxpayers, like the Georgia State Income Tax Cut of 2022, along with other tax refunds.

Disappointed with BC Tax. I worked with them for almost 4 years on and off and spent almost $20k total and my tax issues remain unsolved.Megan, who was supposed to handle my case, never seemed to have time to address my concerns or provide updates. I would call her numerous times, send multiple emails and all i get is a phone call from her personal assistant Paula saying Megan is busy and waiting for the IRS to call us back. And when she would get on the phone every 60 days or more she sound annoyed. She later tells me she has a very stressful job dealing with the IRS and during her lunch breaks she needs time to work out, she would usually call me at the end of the day that’s impossible for me to call them back because they all left already. My grandmother passed away from Thailand and she couldn’t even help me to get my passport on time that i missed the whole funeral. Then she wouldn’t give me a fix price at the end saying i have to pay almost $4k to get my passport and more money to get a resolution, this is her personal assistant again calling me to pay. I expected much better treatment ,communication , and results for the price I paid. I wouldn’t recommend their services at all. Lastly, she was calling the new IRS assigned on my case but the number she has is not even correct. Unbelievable. Use other company but BC Tax.

I’ve never felt like a lawyer could b a good person. Untill I met Dan!! Not only did he comfort my worries, but he was 100% straightforward and honest about everything. It was so refreshing to have a lawyer who truly cares about your situation your family and your results. I would recommend him over and over and over again thanks Dan!

My life was over….Well let me start from the disaster. The state refused to work with my small restaurant business to get on a payment plan. They froze my accounts, seized all my money and property and finally closed my doors. I had no idea what to do. It was literally over. This restaurant is my life. It supports my family and community. Then I answered the phone one day randomly. Daniel has become my life saver. Although I didn’t need to use their services, Dan still talked to me and became a really good friend. This company will go above and beyond for you even if you don’t work with them! Daniel sat on calls with me for hours and days just listening to me cry. We talked and worked thru some things and with his help I gained the confidence to dig myself out of this hole. We finally re opened and we are going strong again! He’s a lifelong friend and I would highly recommend this company for any tax needs! These are the real ones here.
